Super Bowl XL, Is It Worth It?

being a fan of the one and only Carolina Panthers, the super bowl as lost almost all appeal. I would have been fine with cheering for the Denver Broncos, but they lost to the Pitsburg Steelers. so that pretty much rots and as an added bonus, because both the broncos and panthers lost, I get no extra credit in world history, also rots. so i decided to post on the fact that the 40th anniversary of the super bowl will pretty much not be worth watching, because 19/20th's of the Academy resides on either the broncos side, or the panthers side, which means the general consensus will be "blah." both the favorite teams lost, so, no one will be super excited about the super bowl this year at the Acad, but for those 2 seahawk fans, and 5 steelers fans, it will be like their birthday.

School Commences

January 11th rolled around and the general statement made by most highschoolers was " I don't want to go to school." generally I'm "excited" about the school year, because of all the things it will offer. sure it will throw many projects my way, but that won't hold a candle to everything else. spirit week is one thing worth looking forward too. seeing the Acad population all up in a buzz about the all-star basketball game and such. so that will be fun, depending on if the office let's me keep my pants. another thing the year will offer is the whole "not sitting at home being bored" thing, because yes, sometimes I would take school over a break. school can actually be fun somewhat if you don't absolutely hate it all the time. so anyway like I was saying school started and I'm celebrating with a post. I'm definitly thinking this will be an interesting semester. with all the seniors dreading college and we freshman eagerly awaiting not being the bottom rung on the social ladder anymore. also another plus, cheese didn't take over my locker, especially since it never changed for 4 weeks, thats right 4 straight weeks, no mould visible. so with all that said I'm looking forward to another great semester.

School Approaches

It's right around the corner again and much to our disapproval school is happening again this year. Freshman eagerly awaiting to outgrow the stench of rookie-hood. Sophmores also savoring their last semester as a lower classmen. Juniors restlessly undergoing another term until they become the top of the food chain. Seniors, sounding like old people as they brace for college and try to hang onto their old friendships. School houses many feelings as this last semester of '05 - '06 initializes. Feelings of anxiety and fear, of happiness and glee, of sadness and misery. I for one can't wait! I've been kinda bored during Christmas break, after Christmas most everyone engaged their normal lives again leaving many to lie at home bored out of their minds, with the only respite of having a party with 20 guests (TEE-HEE.) So the school semester will offer a way out of the sheer boredom of sitting at home with nothing to do, that is if rotten cheese hasn't taken over my locker (TEE-HEE!)
